UCF Homecoming is a week full of exciting events leading up to the Homecoming football game. It’s a chance for students to celebrate all that it means to be a UCF Knight and Spirit Splash is a tradition that the UCF has embraced since the 90’s!

During Spirit Splash, UCF invites students to charge into the Reflecting Pond for a chance to catch collectible rubber ducks. Each year, one of those ducks is preserved by the Special Collections & University Archives (SCUA) department of the UCF Libraries.

This year, the Special Collections & University Archives team will be hosting a duck exhibit on the second floor of the John C. Hitt Library on the day of Spirit Splash where students can browse the ducks of years past. Leading up to the day, there will be a “Who’s Your Ducky” contest with posters of each duck 2nd floor art wall where students can vote for their favorite duck.
