LGBT Tourism Exhibit at Rosen Library

On display in the exhibit case at the Rosen Library are books, souvenirs, and photographs regarding lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender tourism. The exhibit showcases fiction and nonfiction gay travelogues and academic research on LGBT tourism. The pamphlet covers basic information regarding LGBT tourism and the history of this particular subset of tourism in Florida. This exhibit has been on display since August, and it will run through October. Schuyler Kerby curates the exhibit with assistance from Shane Roopnarine.

International recognition for Rosen College

Rosen College ranked No. 5 on CEOWORLD magazine’s list of the 50 best hospitality and hotel management schools for 2015, based on a global survey of 18,000 hospitality recruiters and senior managers of luxury hotels around the world.

Founded in 2004, Rosen College is the youngest hospitality school in the top five.
Rosen College offers six academic degrees to 3,500 students including the only bachelor’s degree in event management in the United States and the only doctoral program specifically in hospitality management in Florida.

Rosen Library Study Rooms: Book Online

Rosen Library’s study rooms (120K, 120J, and 120H) can now be reserved online! Just visit http://library.ucf.edu/studyrooms/ and click “Reserve a Study Room.” Rooms are available for currently enrolled UCF students and can be reserved for a maximum of two hours per day. National Society of Minorities in Hospitality at UCF Exhibit

On display in the exhibit case of the Rosen Library are photographs, awards, and materials from the National Society of Minorities in Hospitality at UCF, plus items from the library’s collection. This exhibit was installed in October and will be on display through finals. Check out the exhibit in person or view it in STARS!
