There is no season when such pleasant and sunny spots may be lighted on, and produce so pleasant an effect on the feelings, as now in October.

Tutorials Update:
The implementation of the new Rosen Library Tutorials — a set of self-paced, asynchronous tutorials and accompanying quizzes designed to teach Rosen College students the basics of conducting library research — has been very successful. The Tutorials have been used with ten different courses so far, and we hope to increase that number in future semesters. We are already planning ways to improve the Tutorials further and to increase participation. If you would like to talk to us about using a Tutorial with a course next semester, please come see us or contact us at rosenlib@mail.ucf.edu
Horovitz Foundation Gift
As you know, Dr. Jeff Horovitz and the Horovitz Family Foundation generously donated $3000 to the Rosen Library, to be used for the purchase of materials in a wide variety of subject areas. Most of these materials have already arrived and are available for checkout, while the remainder will be arriving soon. Come see our New Books display in the center of the Library, or get a preview of some of the new books by viewing our Rosen Blog Story A Gift to Rosen Students.
Highlighted below are some recently-acquired DVDs. Make note of these for use in your courses later this semester or for next semester!
Many of these titles were purchased with the Horovitz Foundation funds.
