Academic Engagement Suite

The third floor of the John C. Hitt Library is probably the most relaxing place to be — whether you are reading a book, studying, chatting with friends, or seeking academic advice, the floor has everything you need.

Of particular importance is the Academic Engagement (AE) Suite — though, perhaps I am a bit biased. Continue reading to learn more about the AE Suite, what the space offers you, and what events the librarians within this office host!

The AE Suite contains the offices of UCF subject librarians. These individuals provide in-person, one-on-one appointments for students, faculty, staff, and the local community. With built-in consultation rooms, the space offers academic resources and privacy. These librarians provide research assistance; they routinely answer questions about articles, books, citations, and general library knowledge. If you’d like to schedule an in-person or virtual research consultation, visit the Appointment page on the Libraries’ Schedule website.

The AE Suite is also involved in several library events, including scavenger hunts, bookbinding workshops, meditations, therapy dog visits, and virtual events!

For additional information or questions, please visit the Academic Engagement Suite, located in Room 330 on the third floor of the John C. Hitt Library.
