New Rosen Exhibit – America’s Native Spirit: The History of Bourbon

Our latest exhibit follows the history of bourbon from its roots in American frontier life to modern prominence as an internationally recognized spirit. As Scotch is a distinct product of Scotland and Canadian Whisky originates in Canada, bourbon is a product that is uniquely American. The exhibit includes materials from the library’s collection paired with a selection of distinct bourbon brands. Special thanks to Dr. Marissa Orlowski of Rosen College and the Sazerac Company Archives for contributing items. The exhibit will be on display through Spring 2018.

UCF Knights Gameday

Game Day Hours, Thursday 8-31-17

Hours at the UCF Libraries on Gameday, Thursday, August 31 are listed below. Kickoff at Spectrum Stadium is at 6:00 p.m., so hard-working, Library-using, hard-studying, relentlessly researching Knights have plenty of time to meet tailgating friends and see the start of the game. The UCF Knights face the FIU Panthers, under the lights. Go Knights! Charge On!

New Fall Exhibit at Rosen Library

Welcome back to new and returning Rosen College students! Check out our display in the Rosen library’s exhibit case: Campus Tour-in-a-Box. We have gathered flyers, brochures, and materials that offer a quick rundown of resources available to students.

Also included in the exhibit are books showcasing current trends in the field of hospitality and tourism, plus books about time management and productivity!

New Rosen Exhibit: Transfer Knights and Tau Sigma National Honor Society

On display in March and April at the Rosen Library is an exhibit featuring two student organizations–Transfer Knights and Tau Sigma National Honor Society. Transfer Knights is a social organization that connects transfer students with the rest of UCF. Tau Sigma is a national honor society that features the academic work of transfer students. Newsletters, schedule of events, and contact information are provided for students who are interested in joining these student organizations. Exhibit was curated by Velencia Duvra with assistance by Schuyler Kerby.
