The Story of Vinnie the Vulture

UCF’s mascot history is rich in folklore. Long before Knightro, there were official mascots of the university, like Sir Wins-a-lot, Puff, and Mack the Knight. The 1st Floor of now for Quiet Study Header

The 1st Floor is now for Quiet Study

Looking for a quiet place to study? We have transitioned the 1st Floor of the John C. Hitt Library into a place for quiet study and more focused work. Please limit your noise levels while on this floor to whispered conversations and keep phones on silent. Food and drink is still allowed, and we appreciate you being mindful of others and making the space into a great space for study. Keep in mind, when you enter the John C. Hitt Library you are on the 2nd floor and you may take the elevators or stairs down to reach the 1st floor. This change will be in effect until further notice.
