Know Your Library: Sage Research
All Libraries, Know Your Library Posted: April 25th, 2025If you are a UCF student, chances are you’ve used your UCF account to access various databases, journals, and articles. The UCF Library provides students with access to a variety of subscriptions, including research materials, historical artifacts, skill modules, educational videos, online newspapers, and more.
SAGE Research Methods provides materials that focus on the research process and design, helping users identify, understand and design methodologies, plan their project, conduct their research, organize sources, and write up findings.
There are currently three databases within SAGE Research methods:
- SAGE Research Methods Cases – researchers explain their method selection, how they overcame problems, and what they might have done differently
- SAGE Research Methods Datasets – instruction guides that provide data analysis practice questions
- SAGE Research Methods Video – tutorials, case study videos, expert interviews, and more
If you’re interested in learning more, research librarians have created discipline-specific SAGE Research Methods guides. Access that list here: https://guides.ucf.edu/srch.php?q=sage+research+methods
