Know Your Library: Production Studio

The John C. Hitt Library has everything you need to produce work and content that reflects the technology of today: from high-quality equipment to entire spaces and librarians dedicated to helping you succeed.

The library’s Production Studio is a do-it-yourself, innovative space designed to give you all of the tools you’ll need to create professional videos and images for your use. Read below to learn about how you can make use of the space!

The Production Studio is open for booking for UCF Students currently enrolled in classes, UCF Staff, and UCF Faculty. Each session time is 90 minutes, and up to five people are allowed in a session at a time. While the space has studio equipment available, you’re welcome to bring your own!

There are three distinct areas of the Production Studio:

  • Presentation Stage for photography
  • Conversation Stage for interview-style video
  • Headshot Stage for self-photography

To use the studio, you must follow a few precautionary steps:

  • Enroll in the Webcourse
  • Schedule and participate in an orientation session
    • Sign the Terms of Use form
  • Book a session
