The story of Harrison William Shepherd, a man caught between two worlds – Mexico and the United States in the 1930s, ‘40s, and ‘50s – and whose search for identity takes readers to the heart of the twentieth century’s most tumultuous events.
Yesterday afternoon, Tuesday 8/25, the John C. Hitt Library was evacuated, at around 1.15 p.m. The building reopened to all over one hour later. The first floor was reopened to all a few hours later. Thankfully, this was not a major event, but the Orlando Sentinel ran a story about it. Thanks to all the students who efficiently evacuated the building, allowing the fire and safety crews to inspect and investigate without interference or interruption. And thanks to those crews who keep us safe. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Group study rooms can now be reserved for up to four hours at a time! Rooms are available for currently enrolled UCF students. General study rooms are not locked, but if you do not reserve the room, you will be asked to leave if another group makes a reservation.
