Hooray for UCF's USPS Employee of the Month for the month of June: the library's own Cindy Dancel.
Cindy works in the Library Reference Department as a Senior Office Manager. Her duties include staffing the Ask A Librarian phone line, computer support, clerical assistance, and a many other projects.
Cindy provides a unique graphic art skillset to the library. She has assisted the with publicity for the Knowledge Commons, traveling exhibits, and signs for government documents. Cindy is a member of the Web Working Group, the Library’s External Communications Committee, and serves on additional task forces.
In addition to a SunTrust (on campus vendor) $25 gift certificate, lunch, and an introduction to UCF 's Board of Trustees, marquee announcement, UCF apparel, goody bag, certificate and surprise presentation, Cindy is also now eligible for the USPS Employee of the Year award, which is announced annually at the Employee Awards Program.
