If you've never heard of Buzz Price, you need to stop in and check out the Rosen Library's new exhibit: Adding it Up: How Harrison "Buzz" Price Changed the Attraction Business.
Harrison "Buzz" Price was an innovator in the field of attractions research. He was the first to apply numerical and statistical data to entertainment and attractions projects. With his research, Buzz could determine if an attractions venture would be succesful and how it should operate. Best known for his work with Walt Disney, Buzz was the man who determined the best placement locations for both Disneyland and Disney World. Without Buzz Price, Orlando may never have been the home of Disney World!
The Adding it Up... exhibit, curated by April Anderson and featuring materials from the Harrison "Buzz" Price collection at the UCF Library Special Collections & University Archives, will be on display in the Rosen Library through early May.
