Queen of Babble Gets Hitched by Meg Cabot
If you liked Queen of Babble, then you need to check out a copy of Queen of Babble Gets Hitched by Meg Cabot. Once again, Lizzie gets herself into all kinds of trouble!
After professing their love for each other, Lizzie and Jean-Luc move into his mother's fifth avenue apartment in New York City. Lizzie is working in a boutique dedicating her time to restoring vintage wedding gowns. Things are looking up for Lizzie, until she mentions marriage to Jean-Luc: he promptly leaves for France and she moves out.
Lizzie is devastated that the man of her dreams did not want to marry her. To make matters worse, Jean-Luc's best friend, Chaz, proclaims his love for her. But eventually Jean-Luc comes back to Lizzie--and with an engagement ring. Finally, Lizzie gets to marry her future doctor at his chateau in France!
But over time, Lizzie begins to realize that she had fallen in love more with the idea of being married to a man like Jean-Luc. Could it be that Lizzie was never in love with Jean-Luc? Will she take Chaz's love for her into consideration?
