July Book of the Month

Posted on: Jul 7, 2008 @ 12:34:28 pm

Looking for a great tale that will keep you laughing throughout the whole book? Then check out a copy of Queen of Babble by Meg Cabot. It tells the story of a lovable girl who can't seem to keep secrets, except for her own!
Lizzie Nichols is set to graduate with a degree in fashion history but then finds out that she needs to write a senior thesis in order to get her degree. With this special project in mind, she arrives in London with her new boyfriend. She discovers the guy isn't worth her time, but along the way she gets him into trouble by spilling his secrets all over the city.
Lizzie needs to escape London, and, fortunately, her best friend is spending the summer in the south of France, catering weddings at Chateau Mirac. She is mesmerized by the chateau's surrounding beauty--and the chateau owners son! Lizzie has good intentions, but the "queen of babble" strikes again. Can she talk her way out of this one?
