Hunger Games in the Classroom Workshop

Posted on: Sep 24, 2013 @ 1:23:53 pm

We love those books that draw kids and adults in, even the ones who don't like to read. You know? The books we all buzz about, even talk with complete strangers about because the characters seem so real, the action so thrilling. Suzanne Collins' Hunger Games Trilogy falls into this category. So, well liked by so many! And, ripe for classroom use. But, can a book that seems so brutal really be for the classroom? You bet it can! Join us on Friday, October 25, 2013 from 3-6pm, in the CMC, to learn from local teachers and librarians how they are using Hunger Games in their classrooms. The workshop will end with a mini live action game! Want more info? Click on the links below!
