Have you noticed that a new era has begun in the main library? It's the era of digital signs.
Every floor of the main library has at least one digital sign. Aaron Keyser of the library's Systems and Technology department is shown here installing a digital sign on 5th floor, outside of the elevators (photo by Selma Jaskowski).
On the main floor (2nd), a sign with general information is placed to the right of the entrance. Digital signs with maps and computer availability have been mounted on pillars directly across from the Art Wall, for many months.
On 1st floor, 3rd floor, 4th floor and 5th floor, digital signs have been mounted outside of the "bank of three elevators": the elevators on the right as you proceed toward the main floor Knowledge Commons.
Take a look! Your comments and questions are always welcome.
And don't forget: you can see study room availability in a list, or visit the maps to see everything's availability, including PCs, in real-time!
