Posted on: Jun 20, 2014 @ 12:20:23 pm

Did you know that Americans eat enough hot dogs on July 4th to stretch from Washington D.C. to L.A. 5 times – that’s 150 million hot dogs! This is just one of the reasons July is National Hot Dog Month! To celebrate this popular food, we recommend checking out some of our books in the library.

If you need more fun-filled ways to celebrate National Hot Dog Month, you might want to check out the site "Hot Dog City"(, which contains hot dog statistics, restaurants, hot dogs in pop culture, and related news.

Chase's Calendar of Events, available in the library, has information about all of July's national celebrations (such as how to best celebrate National Horseradish Month).
