Glen Samuels, a proud UCF alumnus from the Class of 2010, is the Access Services Night Supervisor at the UCF Library. Dedicated to supporting students, he plays a crucial role in keeping the library running smoothly into the late hours—staying on duty until 1 AM on weekdays. Whether assisting with research, managing resources, or ensuring a welcoming study environment, Glen is a reliable presence for night owls who rely on the library as a hub for learning and success. The UCF Libraries are implementing a new study room booking process for the John C. Hitt Library to better meet student needs. After gathering feedback and analyzing usage patterns, we have made adjustments to ensure fair access to study spaces while addressing concerns about availability.

We are pleased to announce that OverKnight Study is back for the Final Exam period of the Spring semester! We’re offering extended hours on selected dates in the John C. Hitt Library from 1:00am – 6:00am. Amenities include 200 study seats, access to desktop PCs, drink and snack machines and security staffing.
