All UCF Libraries computers require patrons to log on using their NID and NID Password. Non-UCF affiliated patrons may request a temporary user name and password at a service desk.

Software
UCF Libraries installs a variety of software titles applicable to academic studies. These include Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and many more. View our list of currently installed applications.
Media Viewing Stations
Blu-ray, DVD, and VHS player workstations are available to the public on the 1st Floor along the East wall near the restrooms. All stations require headphones for private listening. Headphones are available for checkout at the LibTech desk.
Technology Lending
A wide variety of technology products and accessories are available for checkout to UCF students through our LibTech desk. Visit LibTech for a complete listing of available items.
Wireless Networking
UCF provides wireless networking for mobile computing devices throughout the library and campus. All UCF Faculty, Staff and Students must connect to the secure “UCF_WPA2” network using their NID and NID password.
Non-UCF affiliated patrons may use the limited access “UCF_Guest” network.Additional configuration setup and configuration guides for wireless may be found here.

Computers for Research
The Library features 40 computers with Internet access, Microsoft Office Suite, and a variety of other programs. One workstation is equipped with assistive technology such as Jaws and ZoomText. Please use our computers appropriately: see our Library Policies page for information on our Computer Use policy.
Technology Lending
The Rosen Library checks out tablets, Blu-ray players, calculators, headphones, chargers, and more. See our Technology Lending page for more information.
Scanners
The Rosen Library has two small desktop scanners for public use. Please see our Print, Copy, Scan page for more information.
Knight Cash Machine
A Knight Cash machine is located near the circulation desk. Use the Knight Cash machine to put money on your UCF ID card, which may then be used in library photocopiers and printers.
Blu-ray Players
Each of the three group study rooms are equipped with computers and Blu-Ray players for in-library use. Remotes to use with the Blu-Ray players are available for checkout at the circulation desk.
DVD/VHS Stations
Two DVD/VHS stations are available for in-library use. Each station includes a 13-inch color television monitor and a combination DVD/VCR player. Headphones to use with the stations are available for checkout at the circulation desk.

Computers for Research
The Curriculum Materials Center has 26 computers with Internet access, Microsoft Office Suite, and a variety of other programs. One workstation is equipped with assistive technology such as Jaws.
Technology Lending
The Curriculum Materials Center has 25 iPad Air 2s for 7 day checkout and 5 for 2 hour checkout. We also checkout point-and-shoot cameras, Dell USB DVDRW drives, calculators, headphones, chargers, and more. See our Technology Lending page for more information.

The Downtown Campus Library has 6 computers with Internet access, Microsoft Office Suite, and a variety of other programs. Each workstation has JAWS and ZoomText software installed on them.
Scanner

Technology Lending
The Downtown Campus Library does not lend technology. The Technology Lending desk at the Downtown Campus is located just down the hall from the Downtown Campus Library. Patrons who need access to technology can check out technology items there. See our Technology Lending page for more information.
