Biography
As Embedded Learning Librarian for CCIE, I am the point person at the library for the College of Community Innovation and Education and primary subject librarian for Teacher Education, Educational Leadership, and Counselor Education and School Psychology in a collaborative liaison model. I also support Learning Sciences, Legal Studies, Criminal Justice, and Public Administration in a secondary subject liaison role. I offer curriculum-integrated information literacy instruction, research consultations and collaborations, collection development, and textbook affordability support.
I’ve been a librarian and educator for 13 years with a research focus on online learning in information literacy, instructional effectiveness, and more recently, generative AI in information literacy instruction. My educational background includes a Master of Science in Library and Information Science from Syracuse University and a Master of Theological Studies from Harvard Divinity School.

Open Educational Microcredentials/Badges
Each microcredential includes an interactive chapter, a formative assessment, and a summative assessment. They have been reviewed by librarians, faculty, students, and instructional designers and revised according to feedback. As of December 2024, the modules have been utilized by faculty at 138 colleges & universities worldwide and 135 faculty at Valencia College since their creation.
