Checking out books
To check out materials from the Valencia Osceola library, you must obtain a reciprocal borrower ID card. Students can do this by presenting their UCF ID card and one other source of identification that indicates their current address (e.g., Florida driver’s license).at the library circulation desk.

Audiovisual Materials
The library has two collections of Audiovisual Materials. One collection has a check out period of three weeks. The materials can be found in the main collection. The other collection has DVDs that are for in-library use only. The DVDs can be requested at the Circulation Desk and check out for various time periods. Please note that these materials must be used within the library.
Borrowing Materials
UCF students and employees may check out library materials at the Valencia College Osceola Campus provided they have a reciprocal borrower ID card issued from the Valencia College campus. The reciprocal borrower ID card is issued provided the individual has a valid UCF ID card, and one other source of identification that indicates their current address (e.g., Florida driver’s license). A limit of 10 items may be checked out for three weeks (four weeks for faculty). Successive renewals are granted twice. Fines for overdue materials are 25 cents per day per item. For lost items, students and faculty will be billed for the cost of replacement plus a processing fee.
Computer Access
Students can access computers in the Library. If you need help logging in, please ask a librarian for assistance.
Printing/Copying/Scanning
Printing/copying services are available in the library. A self-service scanner is available near the circulation desk. Limited free printing (100 per week) is provided by KOTC to UCF students in room 4-251 during UCF Valencia Osceola office hours.
Reserve Materials
Items on reserve can be requested at the Circulation Desk. You can request an item by course name, number, or professor. The loan period for reserve material varies. There are fines on late reserve materials, so be sure to return items promptly.
Study Rooms
The Osceola Campus Library has seven group study rooms that can be reserved up to one week in advance. Each room is equipped with a dry erase board and flat screen television for laptop or iPad display. Rooms are available for a two hour block, with an additional two hours possible if no other reservations are made for your room. Visit the library’s circulation desk to reserve a room; a student ID is required.
