Special Collections & University Archives is currently open to all visitors at no cost by appointment only. Please allow at least three working days’ notice for materials stored off-site to be delivered.
How to Schedule an In-Person Appointment
Please contact us at speccoll@ucf.edu to arrange a date and time for your visit to our reading room.
When you contact us, please include:
- Your name, email, and phone number
- Materials you would like pulled for your research appointment. Include:
- Collection title and number with Box numbers or Flat File Folder Numbers
- Your research topic (optional, we can use this information to help identify any other possible materials you may be interested in)
- Preferred day and time of visit
If you don’t know which materials you want to look at, that is ok! Let us know what your research topic is, and we can pull some materials we think will be helpful.

We are open Tuesday – Thursday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Special Collections & University Archives is located on the 5th Floor (Room 501) of the John C. Hitt Library on the University of Central Florida’s main campus. To navigate there via GPS, use the address below.
