University History
Plans could not progress further without leadership, and Dr. Charles N. Millican started work as the first president of the new university on 1 December 1965. The new university had no name, no faculty, no students and no buildings, using as its offices the National Office Building on the corner of Church Street and Orange Avenue in downtown Orlando.
UCF's First Office circa 1966.
