Friends of Joy

This Joy Postle Virtual Exhibit was made possible through a gift by donor Denise Hall.

There are many ways to support the efforts of the University of Central Florida Libraries to preserve the legacy of Joy Postle and support other significant collecting efforts. Each year, our alumni and friends provide the Libraries with much needed financial assistance through outright gifts of cash, securities, or other properties, which offer immediate benefits for donors and the university; and deferred gifts, which allow donors to arrange a gift now that has a future benefit for the university.

Special Collections and University Archives also welcome donations of personal property such as manuscripts, works of art, and rare books. Items must enhance the Libraries collecting areas including tourism, Carribbean history, Florida history, and university history. The main objective of the Libraries is to support the research needs of UCF faculty, graduate and undergraduate students, and staff. The Libraries also serve scholars, educators at all levels, high school students, and the general public.

Gifts of all kinds and amounts supports education and research at the University of Central Florida. You may give online or by a single phone call or email. To contact the Libraries' Development Officer go to the website at
