Art in Special Collections

The UCF Libraries' Art Collections are closed collections. Slides of the pieces are available for use by students and researchers in the Special Collections Reading Room, which is located on the 5th floor of the Main UCF Library, Room 501. Additional materials on Art and artists may be found in the Manuscript Collections. The collections have also been featured in Exhibits.

Requests to view pieces in the collections are assessed on a case by case basis, and priority is given to faculty, graduate students and other serious researchers. Requests to view the collections must be made in writing, and is by appointment only. Patrons may e-mail, fax, mail or use our Online Appointment Form to submit their request. Bryant West Indies Collection

A scholarly collection of over 1,800 books and periodicals on the history, geography, economy, and social life of the West Indies and the Caribbean area. The collection also includes paintings, graphics, sculptures, maps, sound recordings, and anthropological artifacts.

General Art Collection

A general collection of paintings, sculptures, and other works of art. The collection is displayed in various locations throughout the library building, including the Special Collections & University Archives.

Latin American Art Collection in Honor of Anne Marie Allison

Paintings and graphics by 20 contemporary Latin American artists donated in honor of the UCF Library's second director.
