Wireless Networking
UCF provides wireless networking for mobile computing devices throughout the library and campus.
- All UCF Faculty, Staff and Students must connect to the secure “UCF_WPA2” network using their NID and NID password.
- Non-UCF affiliated patrons may use the limited access “UCF_Guest” network.

Computer Access at the Curriculum Materials Center (CMC)
Computers for Research
The Curriculum Materials Center has 26 computers with Internet access, Microsoft Office Suite, and a variety of other programs. One workstation is equipped with assistive technology such as Jaws.
Technology Lending
The Curriculum Materials Center has 25 iPad Air 2s for 7 day checkout and 5 for 2 hour checkout. We also checkout point-and-shoot cameras, Dell USB DVDRW drives, calculators, headphones, chargers, and more. See our Technology Lending page for more information.
Scanners
The Curriculum Materials Center has 2 desktop scanners for public use. There is also a scan station by the front entrance. Please see our Print, Copy, Scan page for more information.
Computer Access at the Downtown Campus Library
Computers for Research
The Downtown Campus Library has 6 computers with Internet access, Microsoft Office Suite, and a variety of other programs. Each workstation has JAWS and ZoomText software installed on them.
Scanner
The Downtown Campus Library has one KIC Book Scan Station by the entrance. Please see our Print, Copy, Scan page for more information.

The Downtown Campus Library does not lend technology. The Technology Lending desk at the Downtown Campus is located just down the hall from the Downtown Campus Library. Patrons who need access to technology can check out technology items there. See our Technology Lending page for more information.
