Donate to University Archives
University Archives seeks donations of materials that document the history of UCF (formerly FTU), university traditions, milestones, daily campus activities, and student life, such as:
- Administrative records from campus offices and departments
- Personal papers of faculty and staff
- Records of student organizations and activities
- University publications and ephemera
- Records of faculty and staff organizations or alumni groups
Please contact David Benjamin (david.benjamin@ucf.edu), Head of Special Collections & University Archives, to donate UCF-related collected materials.
It is the policy of the University of Central Florida to preserve the institutional memory of the university by transferring historical documents to the Archives. It is the responsibility of the office of creation, working with the University Archivist, to transfer records to the University Archives. To learn more, please see the Records Transfer page.

To make a monetary donation, select Campus Life > Library > Special Collections & University Archives using the UCF Foundation’s Donation Form.

- Conservation & Preservation: Ensuring the long-term preservation and repair of fragile and deteriorating materials.
- Staffing: Providing necessary staffing to provide services to researchers.
- Access: Making collections research-ready and discoverable worldwide.
- Exhibits: Creating physical and digital educational exhibits that highlight collections.
- Outreach: Developing programming that enhances community engagement.
- Acquisitions: Purchasing rare and unique materials that support research and learning.
- Facilities: Maintaining secure, climate-controlled storage to protect our growing collections.
