The Interlibrary Loan & Document Delivery Services (ILL/DDS) department processes requests for books, articles, musical scores, DVD’s and other materials from other libraries.
We have migrated away from ILLiad and have moved to a centralized requesting system.
You will now find a blank ILL request form button at the top of the search box in the library catalog. You will also find an ILL button embedded in the Everything Search.

To view your outstanding requests, renew books, view your articles, see due dates, click on the Sign in Button that is located at the top right of the search box in the library catalog. Login to your account. Items may or may not be eligible for renewal. Items that cannot be renewed appear in Red.
For inquiries, please contact ILL at 407.823.2383 or ILLBor@ucf.edu
Textbooks
Before submitting a request for a textbook, please check to see if your textbook is available through the eTextbook Portal.
Up-to-date exam books can be found at https://tcpr.petersons.com/. Look at the database before submitting a request to borrow the book from another library.
Requesting books from other institutions takes on average 7-10 days to arrive. Articles and book chapters usually take 1-4 days to arrive.
Library Express Delivery (LED) Registration
Register for LED (Please give us until the next business day to process your registration before placing a LED request.)
For Faculty and Staff
This service checks out and delivers library materials to your designated department office pickup location. Deliveries are made during regular business hours, Monday – Friday, and most items are delivered to the LED mail tub located in your department office within the next business day.
The LED mail tub is for delivery only, not returns. Books may be returned to the circulation desk or one of the library book return receptacles located at the new entrance of the John C. Hitt Library, and in the parking lot between Millican Hall and Phillips Hall.
Distance Learners
This service is for currently enrolled UCF students taking only online courses or UCF Faculty and students at Connect campuses, as well as Retired UCF Faculty. Materials are checked out and mailed to your home on the next business day.
Items may be returned to any of the UCF Libraries or mailed back to the Interlibrary Loan Department. (You must pay for postage.)
Please contact us if your address changes during the semester. Updating your address in myUCF does not update your home mailing address in LED.
You will need to re-register for LED every semester so we can verify eligibility and ensure that we have your correct mailing address.
Note: Distance learners residing outside of Florida cannot borrow physical items owned by other libraries through Interlibrary Loan. Please use your local library for assistance.
