Projects are supported by Sarah Taha, undergraduate student in the Data Science and Statistics programs. Efforts are advanced collaboratively with members of AIM, the Affordable Instructional Materials Initiative.

Joe Bizon is often called the “Leganto Librarian” and leads efforts with Leganto, which serves as a bridge between Canvas and the library. Gina Rippens, Library Technical Assistant II, and others in the Document Delivery & Resource Sharing Department support these efforts. They work diligently to help prepare Leganto lists and course reserves in time for students to access key resources, supporting academic success.

RELATED WEBSITES & INITIATIVES

  • Affordability Counts: This recognizes faculty across Florida who  provide free or low-cost course material options. Eligible courses receive a digital medallion and can display in Canvas. For ongoing recognition, the form should be submitted each semester.
  • Open Pedagogy Faculty Fellowship: UCF fellows work with cross-institutional, cross-disciplinary partners to design and develop renewable assignments, which give students the chance to create beyond the classroom.
  • Textbook Adoptions at UCF: The official UCF website with information and instructions about submitting textbook adoptions.
