Media Collections

The University of Central Florida Libraries' media and collections are located in the media desk at the Main Library (third floor), Rm. 303 in Orlando. The collections consists of videos (VHS only), DVDs, CDs, and CD-ROMs (Windows-based).  Smaller collections of Cassettes, and Multimedia kits are also available.

Media Equipment

The media desk has the following media equipment available for patron use in the library:

Note: Only Portable DVD payers can be checked out of the library for 3 days use.

Feeds

Feeds lectures can be viewed in streaming video format on the computers at the media desk (Rm. 303). As well as on the feeds website: www.feeds.cecs.ucf.edu. A CD burner is available for copying feeds lectures. Students need to bring in their own disc to copy lectures.

CD-ROM Loaded Programs

These CD-ROM programs are loaded on computers and available in the public area. They are reserved for the following course supplements: SAE technical papers, Mosby and Human Anatomy. Students using related classes can check out these CD-ROMS at the media desk and use them in the library.
