About
The Universal Orlando Foundation Library, known as the “Rosen Library,” serves the research needs and interests of the Rosen College’s students, staff, and faculty, as well as the needs of the greater UCF community. The Library also serves as an information resource center for the hospitality industry in central Florida. Our beautiful, 9,000 square-foot branch library is an integral component of the UCF Rosen College of Hospitality Management.

Shuttle
For those traveling from the Main UCF campus, shuttle service is available most weekdays. The shuttle schedule is available through UCF Parking Services.
Driving Directions
For those driving, follow the appropriate written directions below or use Google Maps to generate directions from your location:
- From University of Central Florida’s Main Campus:
- Go west on University Blvd, take Hwy 417 SOUTH, take the Beachline Hwy 528 WEST, take EXIT #2 (Universal Blvd./Orangewood Ave.), turn right onto Universal Blvd., go 3 blocks, and you will see the Rosen College on the right.
- From Walt Disney World or Tampa:
- Take I-4 EAST, take the Beachline Hwy 528 EAST, take EXIT #2 (Universal Blvd./Orangewood Ave.), turn left onto Universal Blvd., go 3 blocks, and you will see the Rosen College on the right.
- From Downtown Orlando or Winter Park or Daytona Beach:
- Take I-4 WEST, take the Beachline Hwy 528 EAST, take EXIT #2 (Universal Blvd./Orangewood Ave.), turn left onto Universal Blvd., go 3 blocks, and you will see the Rosen College on the right.
- From the West Convention Center Building, Orange County Convention Bureau:
- Go south on International Drive, take the Beachline Hwy 528 EAST, take EXIT #2 (Universal Blvd/Orangewood Ave), turn left onto Universal Blvd., go 3 blocks, and you will see the Rosen College on the right.
- From the North/South Convention Center Building, Orange County Convention Bureau:
- Turn right (south) onto Universal Blvd, go approximately 1.5 miles, and you will see the Rosen College on the left.
Parking
Parking on the Rosen College campus is managed by UCF Parking Services. UCF students, staff, and faculty with valid A-D parking decals may park in designated lots.
Visitors to the Rosen campus must purchase a daily permit at a campus pay station or park in a metered spot.
Daily parking permits are $5.00 and must be purchased with a credit card. Daily permits are only valid in “D” parking lots.

Community Access
Access
The UCF Rosen Library is a university library associated with the University of Central Florida, but we are open to the public, with some limitations. If you are looking for a traditional public library, we recommend visiting the Orange County Library System website at https://ocls.info/
Parking
To park on the UCF Rosen College of Hospitality Management campus, you must purchase a virtual day pass. Virtual daily parking permits are $5.00 per day and parking is allowed in student spaces. Visitors can buy a permit and register their vehicle’s license plate information on the online parking system.
Computers
The Rosen Library has computers for public use. To access the computers, ask for a guest password at the information desk. You must show a photo ID and agree to usage policies.
Printing
The Rosen Library has a B/W & color printer for student and community use. Non-UCF patrons must purchase a Copy Card at the Copy Card dispensing machine. The price of a card alone is $1.00, and the machine accepts $1 bills only. The card comes with no added value – additional value must be added to use the card for copying or printing. Value can be added to the card with bills or a credit card; however, there is a $5 minimum charge if using a credit card. The charges for copying/printing are:
- $0.08 per side B&W
- $0.30 per side Color
Community Borrowing
To borrow books from the Rosen Library you must be a Florida resident and purchase a Community Borrower’s Card at the John C. Hitt Library, located at the UCF main campus. The Rosen Library collection is focused on hospitality, tourism, and related areas. We do not have children’s materials or materials of general interest.
Study Rooms
Study rooms are available only for currently enrolled UCF undergraduate students, graduate students, and faculty.

University Writing Center
Fall 2024
The University Writing Center is offering in-person writing consultations on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 12pm – 4pm starting on August 26. Virtual appointments are also available via Zoom, a web-based teleconferencing software.
