Community Access

Access

The UCF Rosen Library is a university library associated with the University of Central Florida, but we are open to the public, with some limitations.  If you are looking for a traditional public library, we recommend visiting the Orange County Library System website at https://ocls.info/

Parking

To park on the UCF Rosen College of Hospitality Management campus, you must purchase a virtual day pass.  Virtual daily parking permits are $5.00 per day and parking is allowed in student spaces. Visitors can buy a permit and register their vehicle’s license plate information on the online parking system.

Computers

The Rosen Library has computers for public use. To access the computers, ask for a guest password at the information desk. You must show a photo ID and agree to usage policies.

Printing

The Rosen Library has a B/W & color printer for student and community use. Non-UCF patrons must purchase a Copy Card at the Copy Card dispensing machine. The price of a card alone is $1.00, and the machine accepts $1 bills only.  The card comes with no added value – additional value must be added to use the card for copying or printing.  Value can be added to the card with bills or a credit card; however, there is a $5 minimum charge if using a credit card. The charges for copying/printing are:

  • $0.08 per side B&W
  • $0.30 per side Color

Community Borrowing

To borrow books from the Rosen Library you must be a Florida resident and purchase a Community Borrower’s Card at the John C. Hitt Library, located at the UCF main campus. The Rosen Library collection is focused on hospitality, tourism, and related areas. We do not have children’s materials or materials of general interest.
