Posted on: Jan 22, 2015 @ 2:07:16 pm

The UCF Libraries are designing a new website!

Need a laptop?

Posted on: Jan 21, 2015 @ 12:35:00 pm

We now have Dell Venue 11 Pros available for checkout!

The Venue offers apps and a touchscreen interface, yet also runs Windows, includes Office software, and has a full size keyboard and USB port. In short, it combines the size and portability of a tablet with all the functionality of a laptop!

Students may use their UCF ID card and NID to check one out at the Rosen Library front desk.

The Future of Coffee

Posted on: Jan 13, 2015 @ 6:01:12 pm

It’s one of the most popular beverages in the world, but its future is murky. Coffee is enjoyed all over the world, but the places it is grown are threatened by harsh temperatures, pests, and diseases. Check out our exhibit to see how scientists and farmers are using new and novel methods to save the Future of Coffee.

The exhibit also features books and DVDs showcasing the history of coffee and its commercial use. Feel free to check any of them out at the front desk. If you are looking for more resources on the beverage industry, check out our handy Food & Beverage research guide.
