“When I first learned about Leganto, I was excited to incorporate it into my courses. I am always searching for resources that are zero-cost for students. Not only has Leganto been essential for my classes, but I also love the seamless integration with Webcourses, the access to analytics, and the overall design.”

“Leganto offers an integrative sharing mechanism to host course materials in an organized way, boosting student access and faculty review of actual usage. The embedded materials can include everything from faculty-created materials to OER content, library-licensed resources, and cloud-shared options such as documentaries and public repositories. As the Leganto-hosted course enhancements can be linked directly into the Modules or assignments, I have found it offers versatility and real time updates throughout a course’s life and the inevitable adjustments faculty make over time. The embedded librarian support for set up and troubleshooting makes Leganto an elegant solution to just-in-time needs throughout every stage of course prep and implementation.”

“I got to know about Leganto when I did IDL in Summer 2024. That is where I met Joe Bizon (Learning Resources Librarian) who informed me about the benefits of Leganto. I wanted to build an online course (EVR3733 Introduction to Sustainable Design) in which I had plans to use information from multiple sources: textbooks, research articles, learning videos, etc. I also wanted to be aligned with UCF’s goal of Affordable Instructional Materials (AIM), i.e. share the material with the students for free. The course used Leganto to connect to 14 eBook chapters, 6 journal articles, 14 videos, and 12 websites. Sharing resources from so many diverse sources would have been difficult without the use of Leganto. Joe helped me with setting up all the Leganto resources for my course. A big thank you to him. I strongly encourage all to use Leganto, especially if you are using resources from multiple sources, like I did in my course.”
