Research Help at the Rosen Library

Posted on: Mar 26, 2015 @ 5:34:07 pm

With many assignments due, the last few weeks of the semester are the usually the busiest. The Rosen Library is here to help with your assignment-related research questions:

  • Use the library's OneSearch to search for books, articles, audiovisual items, and much more. For tips on using OneSearch, see our OneSearch Guide.
  • The library's Research Guides offer topic-specific research help. Our guides cover many areas of hospitality, including event management, food and beverage, lodging, company research, and more. We also offer citation guides (APA, Chicago, and MLA) plus general library research guides.
  • Don't wait until the last minute! Researchers often hit roadblocks along the way, so we recommend starting early. This will give you plenty of time to rethink your topic or research strategy--just in case.

Need more help? Ask us! Rosen librarians are available for basic or in-depth assistance. We are available through chat, phone, email, or in person at the Rosen Library.

Using OneSearch

Updated on: Mar 17, 2015 @ 5:39:00 pm

OneSearch can search most of the UCF Library collection, including Rosen's, at once. It gives you broad search results in one place. OneSearch does not search some library databases, but it is a good place to start your research. Watch this brief tutorial to learn more!
