Talkin' 'bout Baseball - and more!

For some it's an obsession: Baseball. For others, it's a game, our national pasttime. For the Legends of the Negro Leagues, it is pride and passion.

***Tuesday March 30; 7.00- 8:30 p.m. Library room 223
Richard Lapchick, Endowed Chair and Director, Devos Sport Business Management Program, will present a talk entitled It Wasn't Just Baseball: Great African-American Basketball Players Back in the Day.

***Monday April 5; 12:00 - 1:30 P.M., Library room 223
William Sutton, Professor, Devos Sport Business Management Program, will present a talk entitled Jackie Robinson: Intended and Unintended Consequences of Breaking the Color Barrier.

***Monday April 12; 7:00 - 8:30 P.M., Library room 223
Dr. Richard Crepeau, Professor of History, will present a talk entitled, The Negro Leagues: What Have We Learned and Where Do We Go from Here?
