ERIC is the world's largest source of education information, with more than one million abstracts of documents and journal articles on education research and practice. This version of the database provides access to ERIC Document citations from 1966 through September 2000 and ERIC Journal citations from 1966 through July 2000.
The U.S. Department of Education site provides extensive resources for students and educators. ERIC Digests provide brief, but useful, information on many controversial issues in the profession. The Financial Aid page will help students apply for loans, grants, and other special incentives for higher education.

United States Resources: Florida is part of RootsWeb.com a free database of genealogical information which allows you to perform a surname search. The Florida resources page contains a large number of links.
UCF's Florida Microform Sets include data, mostly from Orange County, Florida, from 1576 to 1968. Most of the information is from the 1800's. These records are located in the microfilm and microfiche cabinets on the 3rd floor of the UCF library.
UCF's Resources for Statistics, Demographics and Census provides links to pertinent Census information.
Heritage Quest Indexes are CD-ROM products which include searcheable genealogical data. Although the CD-ROM's must be purchased, the site includes helpful tips on how to conduct genealogical research.
