Study Room Reservation

Student Study Rooms

Study Room 2

The UCF Library houses a number of individual and group Study Rooms throughout the building. These rooms help provide workspace for group studies, while also maintaining an atmosphere conducive to quiet study. Since there are a limited number of Study Rooms, a two hour time limit is enforced.

General Group Study Room Reservation Policies:

  • General Study Rooms are available for currently enrolled UCF students. (Study Rooms are available for UCF course related study and research only.)
  • General Study Rooms can be reserved for a maximum of 2 hours per group per day
  • Except for the 5 small study rooms (rooms 354 - 358) study rooms must be used by at least 2 persons
  • Students and groups can have only 1 room reservation at a time
  • (At least 2) members of a group must be present when checking out a room
  • Room reservations are cancelled after 15 minutes for "no shows", no exceptions
  • Rooms can be reserved up to 7 days in advance
  • A valid UCF ID card or government issued ID is required without exception for checkout on the 2nd floor circulation desk.

Graduate Study Rooms

The UCF Library houses a number of individual and group Graduate Study Rooms on the 3rd Floor. These rooms help provide workspace for graduate students, while also maintaining an atmosphere conducive to quiet study. Since there are a limited number of Graduate Study Rooms, a four hour time limit is enforced.

Graduate Study Rooms are only available to currently enrolled UCF Graduate students.

Graduate Study Room Reservation Policies:

  • Graduate Study Rooms are available for currently enrolled UCF graduate students. (Study Rooms are available for UCF course related study and research only.)
  • Graduate Study Rooms can be reserved for a maximum of 4 hours per group per day
  • Except for the 5 small study rooms (rooms 339-353) study rooms must be used by at least 2 persons
  • Students and groups can have only 1 room reservation at a time
  • (At least 2) members of a group must be present when checking out a room

Presentation Practice Room

Presentation Practice Room

The UCF Library houses a Presentation Practice Room on the 3rd Floor. This room is for group viewing or recording your presentation and a four hour time limit is enforced. When using as a group viewing room you must have three or more people.

Available Equipment for Viewing and Recording

  • Camera
  • TV
  • VCR Player*
  • DVD Player*
  • PC

The equipment is set up to record directly to the flash drive/computer. Patrons will not be able to record directly to VHS or DVD media.

Presentation Practice Room Reservation Policies:

  • The Presentation Practice Room is available for currently enrolled UCF students. (Study Rooms are available for UCF course related study and research only.)
  • The room can be reserved for a maximum of 4 hours per group per day
  • The Presentation Practice Room is to be used to record or practice presentations only. It is not a study room.
  • Students and groups can have only 1 room reservation at a time
  • (At least 2) members of a group must be present when checking out the room
  • Room reservations are cancelled after 15 minutes for "no shows", no exceptions
  • The room can be reserved up to 7 days in advance
  • A valid UCF ID card or government issued ID is required without exception for checkout on the 3rd floor media desk.

Study Room with Computer

The study room with computer is available for currently enrolled UCF students. This room helps provide workspace for group studies, while also maintaining an atmosphere conducive to quiet study. Since there is only one study room with a computer, a two hour time limit is enforced.

  • This study room with computer is available for currently enrolled UCF students. (Study Rooms are available for UCF course related study and research only.)
  • The room can be reserved for a maximum of 2 hours per group per day
  • Students and groups can have only 1 room reservation at a time
  • (At least 2) members of a group must be present when checking out the room
  • Room reservations are cancelled after 15 minutes for "no shows", no exceptions
  • The room can be reserved up to 7 days in advance
