		  Florida Folklife Program. This program was created as part of the Florida
		  Department of State's Division of Historical Resources. Florida Folklife
		  Program provides educational resources and activities to educate people on
		  Florida's traditional culture.</p>

		  <p>This collection contains two series arranged by type of material.
			 Within the series, files are arranged in alphabetical order.</p> 
		</arrangement> 
		<p>Series I: Surveys, 1997-1998 contains paper and CD-ROM information on
		  property surveys, final survey reports, oral histories, and a folklife artist
		  database from Central Florida. Series II: Alphabetical Files, 1984-2004
		  contains brochures, reports, articles and photographs on the Folklife Program.

			 <p>Surveys on the folk architecture of buildings in Fort Christmas
				and Tarpon Springs can be found in this series. Folk architecture surveys
				contain photocopied images of houses, house architecture designs, and
				historical background such as date built and families that lived in the house.
				Typed oral histories and researchers notes are also included in this series.
				Folklife surveys contain final reports and cassette tapes of oral histories
				from notable topics such as Mexican-American Music and Eatonville. These
				folklife surveys include informant consent forms for the oral histories. Final
				reports contain methodology and research behind the surveys.</p>
