Files in Binder were put into pH neutral folders. Newspaper clippings were cut out and put together with a plastic paper clip. Then the collection was put into a pH neutral box.
The entire collection is open for research.

Christian Bauer was a professor of computer engineering at the University of Central Florida from 1970 through 2008, when he retired. He served on this Task Force, which was to regulate Big Box stores. These ordinances included regulating how far these stores were built from schools and residential housing, controlling of street lights, regulating carts, controlling traffic, and landscaping. The Orange County Commissioners eventually failed to pass these regulations for the Big Box stores.
The collection is arranged in two series by type of document.
Series I; Meeting Files, 2006 contains meetings minutes, agendas, ordinances, and PowerPoint presentations documenting the work of the task force.
Series II; News Clipping and Pamphlets, 2006-2007 contains newspaper clippings that followed the meetings of the task force and pamphlets that were produced by Wal-Mart to oppose the ordinance.

This series includes photocopies of photographs showing overnight parked cars and cars for sale in the parking lot. PowerPoint presentations included workshops on the ordinances and proposals made by commissioners and the Big Box stores. Emails from residents, commissioners, and Wal-Mart representatives that discussed ordinances, proposals. and concerns may also be found here.
Series II contains newspaper clippings that follow the Task Force and pamphlets distributed by Wal-Mart opposing the ordinance.
