Traditions
The first Homecoming celebration was held on campus in February 1971 to coincide with the FIT basketball game, FTU’s first varsity sport. Two Homecoming celebrations were held in 1980: one in January centered around the Basketball game against Eckerd College and the second was in November when the football team played against SUNY Albany.
