Artist's Books

The term "Artist's Book" is a very vague term that can mean many different things. An artist's book can be a book owned by an artist. Although commonly called an art book, a book about an artist and his work could also logically be considered an artist's book. Also any book that an astist is responsible for, such as the French livre d'artist or in German speaking areas, Kuenstlerbuch. These are only a few examples, an artist's book can also be documentation, a book of reduced prints, an exhibition catalogue, a book of photographs, a magazine, or even a bookwork.
