Central Florida Heritage Alliance Program Florida Orlando, (Fla.) Biographical/Historical Note

The University of Central Florida Cultural Heritage Alliance began in 2002 as the Central Florida Heritage Initiative, a joint effort of the UCF College of Arts and Sciences and the Department of State Florida Folklife Program. It uses education, research and special projects to celebrate Central Florida's diversity and is now based in the Film Department at UCF.

Collection Scope and Content

The materials are arranged in two series by type of files.

Series I: Organizational Files, 2003-2004 contains materials that show the scope of work carried out by the Cultural Heritage Alliance.

Series II: Student Project Files, 2006 shows the type of work completed by students as they documented their community.

Contents List Series I: Organizational Files, 2003-2004. 0.5 boxes.

Organizational Files holds brochures, reports and photographs documenting the work of the Cultural Heritage Alliance. The final report of the UCF Heritage Alliance Grant includes oral history contacts and brief descriptions of oral history topics.
