This pin was excavated in 1964 from a shell midden in the Ocala National Forest. This pin, made from bone, is estimated to be from about 3000-2000 B.C.

This piece of pottery was presumed to have been excavated ca 1960 from an area known as Tick Island.  Tick Island is located south of Lake George State Forest between Lake Dexter and Lake Woodruff. The piece is undated.
