The UCF Library Catalog is the most complete inventory of journals available from the Libraries and can inform you of the Libraries' past and current print subscriptions and the majority of our current online subscription.
To search for journals, enter the title of the journal. In this case, I'm looking for the Journal of Forensics. Then select 'Journal Title' from the drop down menu and hit Search
Note: The catalog does not contain information about the articles in the journals. It will tell you if the library has a given volume or issue of a journal, but not about what articles were included.
If you still cannot find the journal you are looking for, you can always double-check our list of Online Journals - which is sometimes different from what is in the catalog. Use the Online Journals link from the library home page.
Type in the journal name and click on the radio button next to "exact".

If the journal is found, click on the journal title to access the online issues.

When you click on the journal title, a new window should pop open with options for obtaining the article.
You can type in the year, volume, issue number, and start page if you have this information.

Note that the available dates are given for each option. In this case, you'll notice that the first option (EBSCOhost Academic Search Premier) does not have the current year available online. That's why you will use the second option (Synergy) and click on the Go button.

Another browser window should pop open and you'll see the information about the article. Scroll down down the page, past the abstract (or summary) of the article, and look for links that say "Full Text" or "PDF" - this will get you the entire article.

Journals and magazines cannot be checked out our removed from the Library. You may make copies of articles, within copyright limits. Photocopiers are available on all floors. See Photocopier & Printing Services for details.
If the UCF Library does not have the article you need, Interlibrary Loan may be able to provide it.
