Journals vs. Magazines:

What is the difference between a scholarly journal and a popular magazine? For help in determining the difference see What’s the Difference—Journals vs. Magazines.

Interlibrary Loan:

When UCF does not own the book, article, or other document needed by UCF students, faculty, or staff, the Interlibrary Loan & Document Delivery Services Department (ILL) will try to obtain a copy of it from another library--usually within about 2 weeks. For additional information or for the electronic request forms go to Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery Services.

World Wide Web Sources:

Search the Internet with caution. Remember that anyone can mount anything on the web! For instructions for searching the WWW, click <Untangle the Web> and follow the tutorial. For help developing a search strategy, click <Recommended Search Strategy for the Web (University of California, Berkeley)>. To use a subject directory, a popular search engine, a specialized search engine or a meta-search engine use <Internet Tools>.
