Student I.D.: Obtain a student id immediately. Your UCF ID card shows Library ID. Several electronic resources and services require you to enter a valid, active Library ID number. It is activated the first time you borrow books in the Library. Alternative methods for activating the library ID number are found on the Library Services for Distance Learners page.
Remote access: Current students can gain access to the electronic databases to which UCF subscribes if they follow the directions found at Off Campus Access with EZ Proxy. For additional assistance, contact Ask a Librarian.
Questions: For assistance with catalog or database searching, setting the proxy, or ready reference questions, contact Ask a Librarian. Distance Learning Students should also review the UCF Library’s Library Services for Distance Learners page for additional information.

The UCF Library Catalog is the most complete inventory of journals available from the Libraries and can inform you of the Libraries' past and current print subscriptions and the majority of our current online subscription.
To search for journals, select JOURNALS/SERIALS from the menu near the top of the screen:
Note: The catalog does not contain information about the articles in the journals. It will tell you if the library has a given volume or issue of a journal, but not about what articles were included.
