Proxy Changes
UCF Libraries has updated its proxy service — the service that allows users to access articles, databases, and other licensed materials from off campus. The good news is that the sign-on process will be easier and will offer the option to sign in using the PID. The bad news is that some of your links to articles, streaming videos, and other resources (listed in your Canvas courses, syllabi, assignments, etc.) may not work. Please contact us if you run across any bad links and we can help you update them!
Interlibrary Loan
Find a book or article that the UCF Libraries does not own? Remember that you can still acquire such materials through Interlibrary Loan. All you have to do is set up an Interlibrary Loan account and submit your requests, and we'll notify when your material is available for download (if digital) or pickup (if hard copy).

Just a friendly reminder that the University Writing Center (UWC) is offering writing assistance on the Rosen campus again this semester. Please encourage your students to take advantage of this service and to schedule appointments early.

Library Tutorials & Instruction Requests
We hope you will consider utilizing a Rosen Library Research Tutorial and assigning the accompanying quiz to your students as a graded assignment this semester. We can suggest an appropriate Tutorial for each course, and we will simply ask that you decide on a due date and how many points to assign to the quiz. That's all! We do the rest of the work, including compiling and grading the quizzes. We can even supply you with suggested wording to add to your syllabus.
Face-to-face library instruction sessions may also be arranged in addition to or in lieu of an online tutorial. Sessions may be based on class assignments, research topics, citation help, or other topics. Session length and accompanying assignments are completely customizable based on your needs

New Library Exhibit
This year the Rosen College of Hospitality Management is celebrating a very special 30th anniversary! In addition to events taking place throughout the year, the library has curated our newest exhibit, Celebrating 30 Years of Excellence, as homage to the history of Rosen College.
Come to the library to view a timeline of Rosen College history and special materials which include a commemorative chocolate and the original press release from Rosen's grand opening ceremony in 2004, newspaper articles, and pamphlets from Rosen's early years as part of the College of Business Administration.

Reserve a Study Room
Need a place to meet with a small group of students? We can reserve one of the library study rooms for you. They can accommodate groups of 2-6 people, and we just ask that you provide us with 24 hours notice in making reservations. When not in use, the study rooms are also available on a first-come, first-served basis, so feel free to stop down and check out availability any time. To make a reservation, or for questions about study rooms, just contact us at rosenlib@ucf.edu or 407-903-8100.
By the Numbers
We are pleased to report that student usage of the Rosen Library continues to grow. In fiscal year 2011-2012:
The Rosen Library welcomed 139,856 patrons through the front door (a new record!)
The Rosen Library website received 261,097 hits
Rosen librarians conducted 41 library instruction sessions, reaching 1,206 students
Rosen Library staff answered 5,475 questions (a new record!)
Rosen Library staff circulated library materials 11,585 times (a new record!)
University Writing Center
The University Writing Center (UWC) is once again offering writing consultations at the Rosen Campus. Help spread the word!
This semester consultations are available Tuesdays and Wednesdays, from 11:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., in the Rosen Library study rooms.
Students can get advice on writing papers, including tips on developing ideas, structuring papers, using proper grammar, and much more.

Game Day Hours
Thursday, October 4th is "Game Day" at UCF. That day, UCF will host a weeknight football game at Bright House Networks Stadium on the main campus. Classes and most university operations will end that day on the Rosen campus at 3:00 p.m. The Rosen Library will close at 5:00 p.m. that day. Acess to online library resources — such as OneSearch, catalogs, databases, online journals, and ebooks — will not be affected by the closure. Kelly and I make careful purchase decisions based on reviews from standard sources, vendor selection plans, comparison with other libraries, reference encounters, and other means. You can help, too! Please let us know if you have any suggestions for specific books, DVDs, or other materials you'd like to see us buy. Or if you will be teaching a new course or starting a new program, let us know so we can see if we need additional resources to support those classes. The more we know, the more we can tailor the collection to best support our students and faculty.

Public Services Librarian Kelly Robinson has created a new guide that highlights all of the Rosen Library's video offerings — including DVD, VHS, and streaming video options. We recently acquired a number of new streaming video titles through our FMG Films on Demand database: these titles are categorized on the new guide, and instructions are provided to help you get started with using them. Without further ado, pleace check out the Rosen Video Collection guide, and let us know what you think!
Kelly also completely updated our DVD & VHS Title List, which categorizes our DVD & VHS offerings. This list also now has clickable links that you can use to access the full catalog record for any title.

New Faces
We are pleased to introduce three new members of our team:
Our new Public Services Librarian is Kelly Robinson. She has been busy helping students, teaching instruction sessions, creating or updating research guides, and more.
Our first new Sr. Library Technical Assistant is Amanda Richards. She has been busy helping students, learning the ins and outs of the library circulation system, maintaining our reserves collection, and more.
Our second new Sr. Library Technical Assistant, Ashleigh Ginther, will be starting soon. She will be helping students, maintaining our periodicals collection, overseeing our interlibrary loan operations, and more.
These new staff members are joining longtime team members Library Technical Assistant Supervisor TJ Ormseth and Head Librarian Tim Bottorff. If you haven't been in the library for a while, come on down and meet the staff! While you're here, let us know what we can do to better support your students and your classes!

Search for a Librarian
As mentioned in a recent email, we are currently conducting a search for a full-time Public Services Librarian. We are looking forward to filling this vital role, which has been vacant for several years. This librarian will work closely with students as well as with faculty, with primary responsibilities including reference, instruction, collection development, web design, and other core public service duties.
We will likely be doing on-campus interviews in December or January, and we would welcome feedback from Rosen faculty about the final candidates. We will be in touch with the details as we set up on-site interview times.

Cross Your Fingers
UCF Libraries recently submitted a Technology Fee proposal. The proposal, if approved, would have three major components: 1.) a redesign of the Rosen Library's instruction room, turning it into a collaborative workspace with computers and various seating options, 2.) the addition of electrical outlets in the main room of the Rosen Library, and 3.) the addition of several portable computing devices (iPads and netbooks) for student checkout. Technology Fee proposals are evaluated as part of a competitive submission process. We should hear in November or December whether the proposal will be funded. Keep your fingers crossed for us!

We are pleased to announce that all of our research Tutorials have been updated in preparation for the new academic year, including the addition of some short video clips and some new quiz questions.
We've made using the Tutorials easy for you, and we hope you will consider adding one to any course with a significant research component. University Writing Center
The University Writing Center (UWC) is committed to offering face-to-face writing consultations on the Rosen campus again this semester. The exact schedule will be dependent upon student worker schedules, which will not be fully known until the start of classes, but they have pledged to offer approximately 8 hours of consultation time at Rosen each week, most likely split between Tuesdays and Wednesdays. They also offer a variety of remote consultation options (phone, chat, Adobe Connect) for those who may need assistance at other times.
I will pass along the exact schedule for Rosen consultations as soon as I receive it from the UWC, but in the meantime please feel free to mention and promote the UWC's services in your syllabi and assignments.

The Rosen Library's Break Hours have been posted. In brief, we will be open 8a-5p, Monday through Friday, during the semester break.

Library Tutorials:Please note that we need to receive your requests for library instruction or research tutorials prior to the start of the semester. To make your request(s), simply fill out our Instruction Request form or stop by and chat with us in person.
Course Reserves:Please contact us as soon as possible if you would like to place materials on Reserve in the library, or online as electronic reserves, for your Summer course(s). We can inform you of your options and of any restrictions that may apply.
Collection Ideas:If you have any suggestions for book or DVD purchases, please send them to us as soon as possible. The Acquisitions department needs to make final purchases soon in order to pay for and receive materials before the end of the current fiscal year.
No UWC Services in the Summer:The UWC will not have a physical presence on the Rosen campus during the summer sessions. Students can use their services on the main campus or take advantage of their remote consultation options. All the details are available at the UWC website.

New FacesPlease join us in welcoming our new part-time Adjunct Librarian, Sonjia McSween. Sonjia, taking over the position vacated by Jamie Conklin a few months ago, will be working mostly daytime hours Monday through Thursday. She has a Master's in Library and Information Science (MLIS) from Florida State University and brings some excellent skills to the position. You may see her working with students in reference encounters and library instruction sessions, updating our webpages and research guides, assisting in developing the collection, and otherwise contributing to our service and research mission. Say hello next time you're in the library!

The Dissertations & Theses Full Text database is a real boon to faculty, graduate students, and other advanced researchers. You can search for U.S. dissertations and theses by author, title, school, year, or discipline. Full text is available for most dissertations from 1997 forward. From 1980 forward, citations include a 350-word abstract. Citations for master's theses from 1988 forward also include 150-word abstracts. If you have any questions about using Dissertations & Theses Full Text (or any other databases), just Ask a Rosen Librarian!

Adjunct Search
As mentioned in the last issue, Jamie Conklin, our longtime adjunct reference librarian, left in December to accept a full-time position out-of-state. Unfortunately, the budget still will not allow us to hire a full-time reference librarian. However, we have undertaken a search to hire a new adjunct librarian and will let you know when the new person is on board.
UWC Hours:
Keep in mind that the University Writing Center (UWC) is offering writing assistance on the Rosen campus again this semester. Please encourage your students to take advantage of this service. You might even consider offering extra credit or other incentives to visit with a UWC consultant.Writing experts will be available, in the Rosen Library study rooms:
Mondays 12:00 - 2:45 p.m.
Thursdays 11:00 a.m. - 5:45 p.m.
Students can visit http://uwc.cah.ucf.edu (and click on the TutorTrac logo) or call 407-823-2197 to set up an appointment. Walk-ins without appointments will also be helped, if availability permits. The UWC also offers remote consultations by phone, chat, or Adobe Connect.

Personnel Change
Jamie Conklin, who served as Adjunct Reference Librarian for the past two and half years, has left to accept a full-time position at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Jamie did excellent work for us, and we wish her well in her new position! We do not yet know when we will be able to fill the vacant position, but we will do our best to continue to maintain high levels of service in the interim.

Game Day News
In case you haven't heard, Wednesday, October 6th is "Game Day" at UCF, with most university operations being altered that day. For example, classes will end on the Rosen campus at 3:00 p.m. and the Rosen Library will close at 5:00 p.m. (Main campus classes will end at 12:30 p.m.) For more details, see our Game Day post on the Rosen Library Blog.

Good news! The University Writing Center (UWC) is back, offering consultations on the Rosen campus again this semester:

Tutorials and Instruction Requests
Please contact us before the start of Fall classes if you would like to assign a Research Tutorial for your Fall course(s). Published research suggests that online library instruction is equally, if not more, effective than traditional face-to-face library instruction. Accordingly, we hope you will consider utilizing a Rosen Library Research Tutorial and assigning the accompanying Quiz to your students as a graded assignment.
All you need to do is let us know with which course(s) you'd like to use a Tutorial. We can suggest an appropriate Tutorial for each course, and we will simply ask that you decide on a due date and how many points to assign to the Quiz. That's all! We do the rest of the work, including compiling and grading the Quizzes. We can even supply you with suggested wording to add to your syllabus.

Course Reserves
Please contact us prior to the start of the semester if you would like to place materials on reserve in the library for your Fall course(s). We can inform you of your options and of any restrictions that may apply.
New Audiovisual Checkout Policy...
We know that some of our DVDs and VHS tapes are in high demand and are therefore difficult to lay your hands on when needed, so you will be happy to know that we are going to align our audiovisual checkout policy with that of the main library: DVDs and VHS tapes will now check out for 1 week. This change will allow more professors to have a fair chance at using the hottest titles in the collection.
University Writing Center
The University Writing Center plans to offer consultation hours in the Rosen Library this Fall semester, as they have done for the past two semesters. This has proven to be a popular and useful service! They have not yet released a schedule, but we will pass on that information as soon as we receive it.
Main Library Knowledge Commons Project
Check out the Knowledge Commons website if you would like to keep abreast of changes taking place at the main library. The 2nd floor of the main library is getting a facelift, including the addition of hundreds more computers and seats, and it promises to be a big hit with students!

Citation Searching
Citation searching seems to be a hot topic these days. Main campus Reference Librarian Ven Basco has compiled a useful guide, outlining the nature of the topic and some of the major tools for doing such analyses (click on the tabs near the top of the page): Citation Analysis Tools.
Main Library 2nd Floor Redesign
If you occasionally travel to the main campus, you may notice some unusual activity in the main UCF Library this summer. The 2nd floor (the main floor on which you enter the building) is being transformed into a Knowledge Commons, a dynamic space that brings together learning and technology, study and research, academic support, print and online resources all in one place for students and faculty. Construction will continue all summer, with the new space scheduled to open just in time for the Fall semester. The project is partially funded by the 2009/2010 Student Technology Fee. Over break, the Rosen Library will be open 8a-5p, Monday through Friday. Our normal hours will resume on Monday, May 17th.
University Writing Center Update
We received a lot of good feedback on offering space in the library for University Writing Center (UWC) consultations. We believe the partnership will continue in the future -- for example, the UWC is already planning to offer consultations on the Rosen campus in the Fall term.
At this time, the UWC has not decided whether they will be able to offer in-person consultations on the Rosen campus during Summer terms. We will let you know if we hear anything definitive. Nicole LeBoeuf just joined the Rosen Library team as a Sr. Library Technical Assistant, filling the vacancy created when Sandra Varry accepted a position in the main library's Special Collections department. With our new Rapid Delivery service, you can now get the books and audiovisuals you need from the main campus library, faster than ever before! All you have to do is identify the materials you need through the UCF Library Catalog, then submit your requests through Interlibrary Loan. In a day or two we'll contact you to let you know that the materials have arrived at Rosen and are available for pickup.
The UCF Libraries, thanks to an award from the UCF Technology Fee Committee, recently purchased a major new Springer eBook Collection. This collection includes approximately 16,000 books published by Springer between 2005-2010. You can go directly to the Springer eBooks database, or the ebooks can be discovered through normal search mechanisms, such as in the UCF catalog, on the library website, or even in Google Scholar.
The UCF main campus library is hosting a major series of programs and exhibits through April 15th: "Pride & Passion: The African American Baseball Experience." For more information, and a full listing of events and exhibitions, please visit the UCF Libraries' Pride & Passion website.
Update on the Rosen Library Tutorials
We're happy to report that the Rosen Library Tutorials -- a set of self-paced, asynchronous tutorials and accompanying quizzes designed to teach Rosen College students the basics of conducting library research -- were heavily used this Spring semester. The Tutorials were utilized in 9 different class sections, reaching approximately 300 students. And with the new electronic submission feature, we saved paper and returned the Quizzes to instructors faster than ever!

Introducing Rapid Delivery... a new service designed to get you the books and videos you need from the main campus library, faster than ever before! Thanks to Rapid Delivery, we'll be getting a courier delivery every day, Monday through Friday. (Until now, we received deliveries only on Tuesdays and Thursdays.) No more waiting for days and days to get your main campus library materials!
All you have do is:
Identify the materials you need through the UCF Library Catalog
Submit your requests through Interlibrary Loan (make sure to select Rosen as your pickup location when you set up your account)
In a day or two, we'll contact you to let you know that the books have arrived at Rosen and are available for pickup.

Exhibit on the African American Baseball Experience
UCF's main campus library will be hosting a major series of programs and exhibits exploring the African American baseball experience and related themes: "Pride & Passion: The African American Baseball Experience" March 5 - April 15, 2010 At the main UCF Library, Orlando Campus
The UCF Libraries was selected as one of 50 nationwide sites for this exhibition, which was organized by the National Baseball Hall of Fame and the American Library Association and funded through a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities.
Baseball fans and history buffs of all kinds will find something to enjoy in the UCF Libraries' six-week series of exhibits and festivities, including exhibits and paintings, talks by baseball scholars, a panel of former Negro League players, and more!

University Writing Center @ Rosen:
As we have mentioned in separate email communication, we are pleased to announce that we are now hosting University Writing Center consultants in the library, as part of a pilot project for the Spring semester.
The writing consultants will be on campus Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 10:45a-2:45p, in a Rosen Library study room. The consultants are trained to help anyone with writing, on any subject. Please note that students are encouraged to make an appointment with the Writing Center by phone at 407-823-2197 or online at http://uwc.cah.ucf.edu. Walk-ins will also be accommodated, if availability allows.
Please help us publicize this important new service to students! You can publicize through the flyer that was sent to all faculty (contact us if you did not receive it), through word-of-mouth, or through referring students to our Rosen Library Blog post.

The UCF Libraries, thanks to an award from the UCF Technology Fee Committee, recently purchased a major new Springer eBook Collection. Best of all, Springer ebooks are in PDF format, which means students can print, email, and download entire chapters and books to read off-line on a cell phone, ebook reader (such as Kindle), laptop, or computer. In addition, there is no limit on the number of people who can simultaneously open a Springer ebook, and any fair use of the content for educational purposes is allowed, including embedding the content in Webcourses.
You can go directly to the Springer eBooks database, or the ebooks can be discovered through normal search mechanisms, such as in the UCF catalog, on the library website, or even in Google Scholar. Please let us know if you have questions about, or need assistance with using, this important new collection.
Personnel Change
Sr. LTA staff member Sandra Varry left the Rosen Library in December. She has taken a position in Special Collections at the main campus library. The new position is essentially a promotion for Sandra, in that it pays more and is more in line with her long-term career aspirations. We thank Sandra for her good work over the last two years and wish her the best of luck!
We hope to hire a replacement soon. In the meantime, we are operating with a very small crew. We are doing our best to maintain the same level of service you've come to expect, but please be patient should any small service delays or problems pop up during this period of transition. Thanks for your understanding!

Faculty Survey:
Thank you to everyone who filled out our recent Faculty Survey. We are still digesting the results and will be sharing some of the feedback with you and other parties over the next few months.
For now, suffice it to say that we were pleased and flattered by all of the kind, supportive, and thoughtful comments we received. Wow! And rest assured that we will take steps to work on areas where we received negative comments or suggestions for improvements.
By the way, our suggestion to provide space in the library for University Writing Center (UWC) consultations has generated a lot of buzz. Please know that we have passed your feedback on to the UWC and are hopeful that it will make a difference. Stay tuned for future progress on this issue.
DVD Recommendations:
We know you are always looking for more audiovisual materials. Here's what we've done in the past and plan to do in the future in this area:
First, building the audiovisual collection has always been a high priority for us (the media collection has grown more than 200% since we opened in 2004), and you may not be aware of all the titles we do own: please check out our updated DVD/VHS list or stop by the library to browse through our titles.
Second, we do hope to continue buying more DVDs, and we are looking for faculty recommendations. Please send us (rosenlib@mail.ucf.edu) or stop by with your DVD title suggestions, and we will buy as many as the budget allows. Any titles we cannot purchase immediately will be added to our "wish list" for future purchase.
Thrid, a few more hospitality/business audiovisual titles are available in streaming video format through our FMG - Films on Demand database. You can browse through the titles or search in a variety of ways. Let us know if you need any assistance using the FMG database.

Tutorials Update:
The implementation of the new Rosen Library Tutorials — a set of self-paced, asynchronous tutorials and accompanying quizzes designed to teach Rosen College students the basics of conducting library research — has been very successful. The Tutorials have been used with ten different courses so far, and we hope to increase that number in future semesters. We are already planning ways to improve the Tutorials further and to increase participation. If you would like to talk to us about using a Tutorial with a course next semester, please come see us or contact us at rosenlib@mail.ucf.edu
Horovitz Foundation Gift
As you know, Dr. Jeff Horovitz and the Horovitz Family Foundation generously donated $3000 to the Rosen Library, to be used for the purchase of materials in a wide variety of subject areas. Most of these materials have already arrived and are available for checkout, while the remainder will be arriving soon. Changes to APA Style:
The Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association — the basis for APA citation style — has just come out in a full 6th edition (2010). This new 6th edition supersedes all previous editions of APA, including both the 5th edition (2001) and the APA Style Guide to Electronic References (2007) addendum that many of you are familiar with.
On the one hand, most of the major changes were already hinted at or incorporated into the APA Style Guide to Electronic References (2007) addendum — and those changes had already been incorporated into our APA Citation Style research guide (the "pink sheet") that many of you are so familiar with — changes such as using DOIs with peer-reviewed article citations. On the other hand, (in our opinion) the new Manual introduces additional confusion into the citing of journal articles without DOIs, lacks examples for some very common source types (such as a standard webpage or wiki), and is generally every bit as odd and capricious as its predecessors. Caveat citer!
All that said, the bottom line is that APA citation style has been updated. And, accordingly, our APA Citation Style research guide, in both its electronic and print ("pink sheet") forms, has been completely updated. The URL has not changed for the electronic version, so you can continue linking to the same URL as in the past. And you and your students can continue using that webpage or the print "pink sheet" as a first point of reference on APA style. We also have two copies of the new Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (6th ed., 2010) in the Rosen Library, should you or your students need to consult the full Manual.
Over the Break...
During the break between Summer and Fall semesters, we were busy improving library services! First, we rolled out our new webpage design: surf over to the Rosen Library homepage, if you haven't been there recently. We also added ten new computers to the library, increasing our capacity by nearly 50%! This has been a popular addition, as all of the PCs (both the new and the old) are frequently in use.

Special Funds
The Library was able to spend some one-time, yearend funds to purchase materials in support of the Golf & Club Management program. New Library Instruction Initiative:
Last month I mentioned our work on a set of self-paced, asynchronous Research Tutorials and Quizzes. These Tutorials are being developed in many different subject areas, with the goal of ensuring that Rosen College students gain a firm understanding of basic library research skills.
We plan to complete the Tutorials before the beginning of Fall term, and we hope that many of you will be interested in assigning a Tutorial to one or more of your courses and counting the accompanying Quiz as a graded assignment. We believe that in many cases this new approach, which will require students to practice the skills and demonstrate proficiency, will promote student learning more than the traditional library instruction lecture session.
We actually plan to do some limited "beta" testing of these Tutorials in Summer B term. If you are teaching a Summer B course that requires research and are interested in being a part of the test, please fill out our Instruction Request Form and we will be in touch shortly.
We will provide more details on the full release of the Tutorials as the Fall semester approaches.
Website Facelift:
Coming to a browser near you... Before the start of the Fall semester, the UCF Libraries, including the Rosen Library, will be rolling out a new website. The new design will be more aesthetically pleasing and allow for the incorporation of more current web technologies and standards.

Major New Library Instruction Initiative:
One of our goals is to ensure that Rosen College students acquire proficiency in Information Literacy: the set of skills needed to find, retrieve, analyze, and use information effectively and ethically. To that end, this Summer we will be developing a set of self-paced, asynchronous Research Tutorials and accompanying Quizzes. The Tutorials will cover all the basics of doing research at the Rosen Library: how to locate a book in the Catalog, how to retrieve an article in a database, how to cite a source in APA style, and so on. The Quizzes, of course, will test the students' comprehension of the material. As we put the finishing touches on these Tutorials, I will be touch with many of you in group or individual settings, encouraging you to assign an appropriate Tutorial to your students and to count the accompanying Quiz as a graded assignment. By doing so, you can rest assured that your students will know how to conduct basic library research for their papers and projects. More details coming soon!
Change in Operating Hours:
Effective this Summer, the Rosen Library will be open Sunday through Friday year-round. In the Summer, this change merely means that we will be open Sunday as opposed to Saturday. We intend to maintain this schedule into the Fall semester and beyond, which does amount to a small hours reduction in the Fall and Spring semesters. The decision to close on Saturday was not made lightly or without a great deal of deliberation. However, faced with an increasingly difficult budget and staffing situation, we were forced to make a change. Ultimately, we believe this change will allow us to devote more resources to our busiest times and to better serve our patrons.

New Services
The UCF Libraries Special Collections & University Archives department recently announced the following exciting news: The George and Anne Millay Collection is now available for researchers at the UCF Libraries Special Collections and University Archives on the 5th floor of the main library. George Millay founded both Sea World and Wet 'n Wild, and these papers, photographs and memorabilia documents these and other projects on which he worked. A finding aid, providing background information and a detailed listing of materials in the collection, is now available at http://www.library.ucf.edu/SpecialCollections/FindingAids/Millay.xml
Check out our new Special Journal Issues page. Looking for industry statistics, trends, or "best of" lists? Chances are good that one of the major trade publications in your field publishes some great information, but it was always difficult to keep track of them all -- until now!

Reminders
Some friendly reminders as you work on your syllabi and lesson plans for the Spring semester:
If you assign a research project in a course, you may wish to consider requesting a customized library instruction session, tailored to the needs of your students. Simply fill out our handy Library Instruction Request Form and we will be in touch shortly. Please put your requests in early if you want to be assured of getting one of your preferred dates!
Consider whether you wish to place any materials on reserve in the library for your Spring courses. Every semester we get many inquiries from students, hoping to find required texts and other materials for their courses on reserve in the library. For more information, please see our Course Reserves webpage.
New Services
Did you know? We now have all of the following available for checkout: laptops, headphones, calculators, and lockers. You can refer students to us for these services, or feel free to make use of them yourself.
New Faces
Have you met Jamie Conklin, our new Adjunct Librarian, yet? Chances are your students have, because Jamie is usually busy teaching library instruction sessions, answering reference questions, circulating materials, and otherwise assisting with public service duties in the Rosen Library. Stop by and say hello, if you haven't already!
