In the reflecting pond in front of our favorite building----yes, that would be the iconic UCF main library---UCF students will celebrate, cheer, and have some fun, on Friday, October 22, the day before the Homecoming football game.
The library will be open during Spirit Splash. Be advised that Spirit Splash does raise the excitement level on campus and the noise level in the library building.
The University Writing Center (UWC) will not have consultations in the library on that day. UWC consultations in the main library will resume on Monday, October 25. Perhaps your own Homecoming weekend activities will give you something rather interesting to write about. Or not.
The lyrics of an old Steve Miller Band song say that everything's better when wet. So be ready to jump into the reflecting pond: a unique UCF tradition.
