Your favorite URL, http://library.ucf.edu/Web/Status/Standard/Main/PC.asp, is still there with the information you crave: is there a computer available for me in the main library?
You can check from your home, or office, or anywhere.
But now there is another place you can see computer availability. Take a look at the monitor in the main library building. The monitor is on a pillar in the area just past the Circulation Desk, right across from the Art Wall where exhibits are posted. Computer availability can be seen on a map of each of the five floors, and that includes a map of the Knowledge Commons on main (2nd) floor.
So, on your next visit, after you enter the building and pass the friendly folks at the Circulation Desk, look to the left and you'll see the sign. You'll be glad you did.
