In conjunction with Diversity Week, the UCF Library, the Art Department and Club Kreyol are hosting a Reception and Presentation on Haitian Culture Wednesday, October 19, 2005 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm in Room 223, located on the main floor of the Library.
Haitian-style buffet refreshments will be served. Dr. Jody Cutler, Assistant Professor of Art History will give a presentation on "Vodou Artists and Tourist Art in Haiti" and Frederic Guillaume, founder and CEO of the Haitian Museum of Art and Culture will talk about the new Orlando museum. Local filmmaker Norluck DOrange of the Haitian Benin Project will talk about Haiti-Africa Connections.
