Comment: You absolutely need to change your policy on room reservations!
I have been waiting since 1:50 pm for the video presentation room to become available and was sitting right next to the checkout desk to be the next person to checkout the room. The guy who was working the desk went off shift apparently and did not tell the next lady that I was waiting for the room. She gave it to another group when I checked on the status at 2:50 pm.
Please accept our apology for this great inconvenience.
Thanks to your suggestion, the 3rd floor Media Desk has a procedure in place for those waiting for a graduate study room or for the presentation practice room. Those who are waiting will be issued a card, so that desk staff are aware that a group is waiting for the room. Other options for those who wait are also being explored by the library---again, due to your suggestion.
